Antique Tool for ? Candy ? from W.E. Beckmann & Co.?
I have a very old piece that is some type of candy making tool or something that I am trying to figure out what it is. It has a flat piece and a screw down clamp to hold to a table. At the top it a funnel like opening with a round thing that twist on the side (maybe for a drive belt?). It also has a little metal pin in the side that you can move from hole to hole that says regulator. It has a stamp on the metal that says Pat Nov 7 1922 and on the other side it says NEEDEE. There is a plaque on it that says W.E. Beckmann & Co. Dealers in Bakers Candy Makers Ice Cream and Pop Corn Mfrs Tools & Machinery N9 10 South 2nd St St. Louis MO.
I would love to know if anyone knows what this item is or if they know anything about it.
