Streetlighting in Trinidad and Tobago?
Why are the streetlights provided by the government under the direction of T&TEC being upgraded from 70 not cut off watt high pressure sodium with photo cells for lighting control to full cut off 150 watt hps with sealed computerized controls also why are they put on every pole now and much higher next how is the new technology differs from the old 70 watt and 175 watt mercury vapor counterpart including the classic 60’s 40 watt fluorescent relay and the antique incandescent timer based systems?My second Question who are the manufacturers of streetlighting fixtures that are used in T and T throughout the years?My
Third question is when was the year Trinidad and Tobago gots its first electric streetlight including the first fluorescent,mercury vapor and hps lighting installed?
My final question is how streetlights are billed for energy comsumption in that country including how T&Tec connects it the street lighting fixtures to powerlines to make it work?
