How many scoops for good Coffee?
I don’t mean to sound stupid, but I sware I don’t know how to make good coffee. It says on the package that for every 6 oz of water I need 2 level TBSP of coffee so for 6 cups of coffee (which is 1/2 a 12 cup carafe regular coffee maker) I need 16 level TBSP of coffee grounds. This doesn’t seem right. I did it though and it tasted burnt due to having WAY too much coffee to water.
What can I do to make it good? How much coffee grounds do I need to make about 6 cups of good coffee?
I’m not sure how strong or weak you like your coffee but most of the coffee instructions that I’ve read has 1TBSP per 6oz of water. Try 6 tablespoons for 6 cups, then if its too weak or strong next time adjust it. I had to experiment a bit to get coffee the way I like it. Also I’ve found that the roast and coffee brand has a bearing on how much coffee I put. Best thing is just to keep trying different measurements until you get one you really like.
