Are there hazards of using a plastic airpopper for popping popcorn?

I’m considering buying the air popper machine below for popping popcorn. Wondering if it’s a good value and if it’s dangerous to use a plastic machine for such high temperature things.

I have one. We use ours all the time.It is a great way to make great popcorn that is not loaded with calories but is loaded with taste!
