Hot Air Pop Corn Popper
What is this bug larvae worm thing in my popcorn?

Today I used trader joes organic popping corn in my hot air popper. After finishing the bowl I had just made I noticed a small worm or bug larvae at the bottom of the bowl. As you can imagine it was quite frightening and I am just wondering if anyone has any idea of what it is and how it got there. It is very small maybe 1/2 inch long and 1 milimeter wide off white with a redish brown head and slightly brownish tinted tail. It had small gripping feet things and has faint lines making it look as though it has segmants to it. It crawls aroud like an inchworm.
Thanks for your help/answers I relly appeciate it and hope I will be able to eat popcorn again someday.

I accidentally grew maggots once! I thing that’s what it was. Fruit flies (those little tiny things that fly around bananas as they get old) can lay eggs. I think there is a cycle that gets carried out over a period of time, but the eggs hatch and then something else happens and then the maggots appear. They have to have ideal conditions for this to occur, tike the right temperature and a source of food, I’ve read usually a starch. Anyway, that’s probably what it was and I am very sorry it was in your popcorn!
